To handle the increasing number of patients, the clinic, now with seven (7) physicians, had to move to a larger facility. In 1998 the clinic moved across the street to 4500 10th Street Marrero a 10,000 square foot building. The added space allowed the clinic to develop the Sports Medicine & Rehab Center, which enabled the clinic to provide a full service Physical Therapy Center within the clinic.

In 1999 three of the original physicians retired. Dr. Jack Winters, Dr. Robert Fleming and Dr. Joseph Frensilli. Four new physicians took their place; Dr. Ralph P. Katz, Dr. Chris J. DiGrado, Dr. Fernando L. Sanchez and Dr. David K. Kessler, each bringing with them a unique specialty of Orthopaedic medicine.

Today Westside Orthopaedic Clinic continues to provide the very best total muscular and skeletal care on the West Bank. The surgeons are trained in virtually all areas of modern Orthopaedic surgery, including sports medicine, total joint replacement surgery, arthroscopy and many other surgical techniques and including laser surgery.

All surgeons are board eligible or certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and are members of American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Fernando Sanchez is an active assistant clinical professor at Tulane Medical Center.

Westside Orthopaedic Clinic possesses all the modern equipment necessary to service its patients' needs. Our Physical Therapy Center has the latest in rehabilitation equipment. We have onsite X-Ray capabilities and Bone Mineral Density testing. MRI's and CT scans are conveniently performed across the street from us and some are done at West Jefferson General Hospital. Once a week a Neurologist comes to our clinic and does EMG testing. In addition, twice a week we have a physiatrist that comes and provides pain management services.
